I just wanted to congratulate everyone again on a wonderful fall
season. You guys surpassed my greatest expectations and I could not
have asked for a more fun group to row, coach and engage in general tom
foolery with. I hope everyone had a great time and I look forward to
sweating blood with you in dryland training.
For anyone who
does not have facebook or is not on the email list I have begun
uploading most of our pictures from the Head of the Oklahoma and
Wichita Frostbite. You can also check out professional team pictures
and order pictures from the Head of the Oklahoma on
www.sportgraphics.com. Click on rowing photos and then find 2007 head
races, then Head of the Oklahoma and search our school.

If your interested and would like to receive updates on practices, schedules, meetings etc. Join our yahoogroup. On our homepage go to Links, Rowing and to Yahoogroups.
FOR TEAM MEMBERS! joining the email list is a must so that I can mass mail out announcements. I am too lazy to post as many important things as I should on this site. matt
Hello All, I hope everyone who is interested in the team was able to attend last nights informational meeting. I was expecting a few more people who might have had individual questions after the meeting but maybe we were just that thorough. I would like to get some numbers put together, I would appreciate it if everyone who is still interested would email me and let me know if getting out on the water this weekend is a possibility. I'll offer up both sat and sun mornings to do "learn to rows" starting at 630am (to get out before powerboat traffic takes over). I need a minimum of 3 people to make the learn to row worth while. Last note, the officers need to schedule a code of conduct meeting with sport clubs. It is mandatory that all members and prospective members attend this(there will be a make up meeting offered) and fill out the required paperwork. Our deadline to schedule this meeting is this Friday. So we will be announcing through the email listserv and posting on the website when this meeting will be. If anyone has any questions please let me know. Thanks, Matt
Hello everyone, I've received gobs of emails from people over the summer interested in the team and now is the time for you to find out about us. There will be an informational meeting on Aug. 28th at 730pm in the Longs Peaks Room East on the 2nd floor of the rec center. We will go over all the details of the team, practice, competitions etc. And all questions will be addressed. I look forward to seeing you there. Matt
Hello everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer hopefully not by attending summer school. I have a few updates that might interest people. 1. The galleries have been updated with new pictures 2. If anyone is interested in being taken off any the yahoogroups email list or having their profile deleted from the csucrew website please contact me (contact info under "contact us") 3. Fort Collins Rowing Association and members of CSU crew are currently rowing. If you are interested in getting out on the water whether you have before or have yet to, contact me.
Hello all, The practice schedule has been updated so please review it and plan your schedules accordingly. There was a misprint on the schedule regarding Thursday practice. Thursday morning is an on h20 day, and Friday there is dryland practice at 5pm. As a reminder for dryland, bring warm layered workout clothes, be prepared to either workout outside or inside the rec ctr so REMEMBER YOUR ID'S. Dryland meets either inside the rec ctr lobby, outside on the grassy knolls or at the ergometers in the gym( north side of the building).
DRYLAND IS IMPORTANT....if you want to do well in competition! DRYLAND IS IMPORTANT.....in order for your technique and fitness to improve on water...DRYLAND IS IMPORTANT...enough said. For folks dedicated and willing to put in the hrs of work it takes to do well at this sport but unable to attend our dryland sessions I will be posting our workouts for the week the weekend before practices (this has been promised before and this time we'll do it). We are not physicians, personal trainers nurses or your parents. However, we do know what it takes to do well in this sport and can put together appropriate workouts. That being said if you have any medical conditions (orthopedic, muscular, cough, cold or rabies). Consult with me and a physician before undertaking a workout plan. I didn't just say that because they throw that on at the end of all television ads for workout equipment.
One more reminder...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE sign up on the email list so you can receive all pertinent info.
